Anxiety Disorders
Whether it is a permanent high state of alert and sense of dread, random panic attacks or you have that constant feeling in your stomach, anxiety disorders can make your life hell. It might even make you question your own sanity! If you suffer from this, please remember that you are not alone and you can get help.
Anxiety can be experienced at different levels. It can be brought on by a fear of something that happened, or what we think happened and dread happening again. While most people will experience a relatively mild form of anxiety when facing a particularly stressful situation (such as an exam or presentation), anxiety disorders are very different. An anxiety disorder can disrupt the day-to-day life of an individual.
Trauma and anxiety disorders are complex conditions that can arise from a myriad of experiences and factors, leaving individuals feeling trapped in a cycle of fear, hyper-vigilance, and acute emotional distress like panic attacks. Traditional therapy methods often involve delving into past experiences, which, while beneficial for some, can be re-traumatizing for others. This is where hypnotherapy offers an alternative route—one that doesn’t necessitate reliving painful memories to achieve healing. We can work together to process and/or get rid of all those emotional baggage you are carrying, and help you move forward lighter and stronger. This can really help alleviating issues such as PTSD.
Hypnosis is becoming a more recognised method for reducing feelings of anxiety. It can help boost confidence and self-belief, while reducing feelings of fear and intense worry. It can help you develop the ability to access the calm state of mind needed to overcome the often-overwhelming emotions you are living with.
Under hypnosis, you can begin to learn you how to regain a sense of control and normality. It can help you understand what triggers your anxiety and how to cope when you start to feel anxious.
Another great thing is that you don’t have to spend months after months in weekly therapy sessions to start feeling better. Hypnotherapy is a rapid way to help you recover.
Also, I offer in-person sessions in the Folkestone area and virtual sessions to clients worldwide, whatever suits you best.
“So i went with Anxiety, (…), I was so sceptical about Hypnotherapy, I literally got to the end of my tether with anxiety, my husband had seen Christophe website and booked me in. I thought how am I going to relax and go in to hypnosis when I can’t even relax at home. But wow I definitely felt relaxed, I walked in shaking like a leaf. I walked out with the biggest smile on my face. For once in my life someone ( Christophe ) helped me get rid of the weight that was anxiety. Sounds silly but the thought off taking my son to the park on my own scared the life out of me, 1 session and I love taking my son out on my own the fear of passing out no longer cripples me and stops me enjoying time out at the park with my baby”
